The Coulson Flying Tanker team of flight and support crews have been active on several fires in Southern California. The Hawaii Mars has been deployed on the Harris, Witch and Poomacha Fires. They have been operating off of Lake Elsinore, between Los Angeles and San Diego. The number of water bodies large enough to support the Mars are very limited due the the drought conditions the south part of the state has endured. As you can see by the following sequence of pictures, the flight team has utilized all of the lake surface available...

Aircrane has completed two S-61's for Australia Fire Season, and they are on a vessel from Long Beach to Melborne, Australia. Together with two Bell 212's, Coulson Aircrane will operate the 4 aircraft out of 3 different bases in the states of Victoria and South Australia.
Work will progress on certification of our S-61 tank that will be shipped to Australia in the new year.
