For the past six years, Coulson Millworks’ employees have been producing 6" or 8" bevel cedar siding. On May 6th to 12th we had the opportunity to produce 6" premium knotty tongue and groove panelling for Somass. The run went very well, meeting quality expectations and the production targets that we needed to continue on with the program in the upcoming months. All crew members showed the ability to adapt to the new product and help each other produce safely and successfully.

The pictures on the right show how we take a 2 x 6 kiln dried cedar blank, run it through the moulder to produce a double Tongue and Groove profile, then center split it through the Canali resaws to come up with the 1 x 6 finished product
